JAMES LUGO'S MUSIC CAREER SPANS FOUR DECADES. After graduating high school in the eleventh grade to pursue majoring in classical guitar and piano, he landed a tour with an eight-piece jazz band, and went off to see the world. James has done everything from play guitar in Dokken after George Lynch left the band to sing all the Nazareth hits on tour in their original keys with original guitarist Manny Charlton's band. His voice teaching career started in the late 80s as the vocal coach for the Multi-Platinum dance/pop group Expose'. James has worked with a flurry of celebrities over the years as a top Hollywood vocal coach, including Smashing Pumpkins, Flogging Molly, and Snoop Dogg, and served as vocal coach and voice analyst for American Idol for three seasons.
